I love watercolor! I’ve been painting in this medium for over 40 years and still am amazed at how various pigments flow on paper. It’s magical and joyful! This art form serves as a spiritual practice for me—prayer in color! Among all the watercolor paint brands available, I prefer Holbein paints for my commissioned paintings. The colors are vivid and true, and they don't fade away once they are dry. When it comes to paper, my favorites are Arches 140 lb. and 300 lb. cold press. The texture and absorbency of this handmade paper are unsurpassed! Additionally, I often incorporate my passion for expressive arts and SoulCollage into my watercolor classes, enriching the experience for my students.
